All I want for the holidays is….

Hello readers,

In the spirit of the season I thought it would be appropriate to make a holiday wish list for each of our members.  The following are lists generated by SMS Guys Read Members.  Some might be books that we have that we just want to get into, others might be books we wish we had or plan to get.

Enjoy our lists and the holiday season.

SMS Guys Read Holiday Reading Wish Lists

Rowdy Rowdy Roddy

Airman by Eoin Colfer

I love Eoin Colfer and have wanted to read this book for almost a year now.  I have turned the book on to a few students and they have all loved it.

Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

I found out about this book from GuysLitWire, which is a great site to find out about cool new and interesting guys books.

Hunger Games by Susan Collins

We have another reading club here at school, the Newberry Club, that meets to discuss their pick for the Newberry Award.  After a little chat with a member, they are all into this book.  After doing some internet research, this book is surely on my list.

Tunnels by Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams

I have had this book for a few months and it keeps getting pushed further and further down the list.  I hope to get to it over the holiday break.

Scat by Carl Hiaasen

This book will be published in late January 2009, but I have loved both Hoot and Flush, so this one will probably be just as good.
